Out With the Old and In With the New

When we bought our home,
 it was winter time.
So, we thought this tree was dormant.
But as Spring and Summer came,
it was apparent, the tree was dead!
The tree needed to be replaced.
So off we went, to a huge tree nursery.
There were so many different types and kinds of trees!
The sales person drove us
around in a golf cart.
We I decided on a Frontier Elm.
 It finally arrived!
This called for a PARTY!
The grand kids, Mark and Kimmy came over
for breakfast and to watch
the tree being planted.

Picture Time!
It will be fun to see how big the tree gets,
as the grand kids grow.

Trip #23

Tom and I have driven over
  to either Idaho or Seattle,
23 times in the past 3 1/2 years.

The first 18 times were trips to
Idaho!
Now that we have moved to Idaho,
we make trips back to
 Seattle!
( 393 miles one way)

This last trip was because of this:

Scarlett is crawling and pulling herself up!
 She is 8 months old!
Whew! Wow! Can't Be!

Big brother,
 Trey, is another reason!

Trey had to show me his new trick.
Tree climbing and jumping.

Short trip over and back.

I got to hold and kiss both of them, a lot.
BLESSED!

I love you more then there are stars in the sky!

Simple Pleasures

Our daughter and son-in-law
 bought us these
outdoor, solar lights, for our back patio.
We have really enjoyed them.
Enjoying our visiting, backyard hummer,
the Strawberry full moon.
to seeing them dangle in the mist.
They come on at dusk and turn off at first daylight.
You can find me anytime of the day
enjoying my
backyard

1. The sunsets have been so wonderful. God loves to show us His very best.
2. It's been HOT and it's just the beginning  of summer.
3. Tom and I can now sit outside, under the Misters. They cool the temperature down by 10 or 15 degrees.
4. Hand picked bouquet from grand daughters, Lulu and Ila May.
5. I received this picture of Scarlett, who lives in Seattle. Look at those blue eyes! She's crawling now. We are heading over   ASAP!
6. New haircut..... LAYERS!
7. Fresh basil from our garden.

Number 5 - Isaac

Isaac was born May 23rd
at 3:46 AM
Healthy, with a great set of lungs.
He came very quickly.

Mark called me at 3:00 AM, said, "Hurry",
I got there in 3 minutes
(blessed to live so close).

 Both are doing very well.
Grandparents are thrilled!

Lulu, Levi, Ila May, Silas and Isaac
